"Not beginner friendly at all?!"
I felt lost trying to use photoboothstartup.com. It kind of seems like they expect you to already know how the photobooth business works and what the setup process should look like?! As someone just starting out, I really needed simpler steps and clearer guidance. Instead, I kept guessing what I was supposed to do next. Definitely not the best first experience for me

"I was interested in getting..."
I was interested in getting started with them, but I ended up regretting how much time I spent trying to figure out the financing. It just wasn’t as clear or helpful as I expected. The payments looked higher than I had in mind, and I felt like I couldn’t get straight answers quickly enough. Maybe it makes sense for other people, but for me it was frustrating, and I wish I had known that before getting my hopes up. I ended up not moving forward.

"Setup was okay, but the next steps weren’t clear"
It wasn’t too bad to set up, but it definitely took me a little while to get going. My main issue was that the next steps weren’t very clear, so I kept having to figure out what I was supposed to do next instead of just moving through it smoothly

"The business coaching was helpful in a few..."
The business coaching was helpful in a few areas, especially with pricing and getting more bookings. But a lot of it felt basic and not very specific to my situation. I also found some of the communication a bit unclear, which got frustrating when I was trying to figure out what steps to take next. It’s probably good if you’re totally new, but I was hoping for more detail and guidance that actually fit where I’m at

"It helped a little, but not as much as I hoped"
I thought the training started off okay, but a lot of it felt basic to me. I was hoping for more real-life examples and clearer step-by-step guidance. A few parts were helpful, but overall, it didn’t really answer my questions the way I needed it to.

"Pretty good, just wish there was a bit more flexibility"
I liked that Photo Booth Startup gives you some room to customize things like templates, colors, and a few branding details. It was easy to figure out too, which I appreciated since I’m not always the most patient with setup stuff, haha.
That said, I did feel a little boxed in with certain parts. Some layouts didn’t let me tweak as much as I wanted, and I would’ve loved more font options. Not bad overall, just felt a little limited for customization.

"Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about ordering..."
Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about ordering this booth setup for events: the prints were okay, but I wouldn’t call them amazing. I mainly got it for parties and gatherings, so I was expecting something a little more consistent.
Some of the photos came out clear enough, but others looked a bit soft, and the colors were slightly off compared to what I saw on screen. A few prints came out darker than expected. The paper itself felt decent and not cheap, so that part was fine.
If you only need it for casual parties, it’ll probably do the job. But if you’re charging clients or expecting really sharp, professional-looking prints, I’d be careful. It’s not terrible, just average for the price.

"Support took way too long"
I had to wait a lot longer than expected to get tech support, it was frustrating. I get that things can get busy, but when someone needs help with a technical issue, a timely response should be basic common sense

"Feels kind of cheap"
I was disappointed. The parts feel cheap, and the stand is wobbly once it’s set up. I wouldn’t say it’s worth the money.

"Pretty disappointed with this"
I was really hoping this would be better, but it just didn’t live up to my expectations. After trying it out, I don’t feel like it was worth the money...

"Packaging felt a little rushed"
The packaging was okay, but not exactly impressive. The box showed up with a dent and some of the tape was already coming loose, which made me wonder if they were trying to cut corners a bit on shipping materials. Luckily, everything inside was fine, so it wasn’t a huge deal. Still, for the price, I expected it to be packed a little more securely.

"We used photoboothstartup.com for a birthday party, and..."
We used photoboothstartup.com for a birthday party, and to be fair, the booth did show up and mostly worked throughout the night. People were able to take photos and have fun with it, so it wasn’t a total miss.
That said, I was a little stressed at the start because they were about 20-25 minutes late getting going. Then there was a printer issue in the middle of the event, and even though the staff fixed it, guests were just standing around waiting, which was awkward.
Overall, it was okay, but the problems are what I remember most. For a casual birthday, it was manageable, but if this had been a wedding or corporate event, I’d be nervous about relying on them unless the timing and setup were much smoother

"Unclear instructions and I had to keep chasing them"
The instructions were really confusing, and I kept getting stuck trying to figure out what I was supposed to do next. I also had to chase them for help, which just made the whole thing more frustrating and wasted a lot of my time.

"I never got the help I needed"
I reached out to the community a few days after running into an issue, hoping someone would point me in the right direction. I checked back later that day, then again over the next couple of days, but nobody really offered anything useful. After waiting around for a while, it felt like the community support just wasn’t there.

"I bought from them because I figured..."
I bought from them because I figured having a warranty would give me some peace of mind if anything went wrong. Instead, the whole thing just made me feel stupid for trusting them in the first place. Replies were slow, and every time I thought I was getting somewhere, I felt like I was being passed around or sent in circles.
When my booth actually needed a repair, the process was confusing and dragged on way longer than it should have. I wasted a lot of time waiting for clear answers that never really came. Maybe other people had a better experience, but for me, dealing with their warranty and repair process was really frustrating

I reached out to support with a basic request and never heard back at all. It’s frustrating when you just need a simple answer and feel completely ignored.

"Checkout was a bit clunkier than I expected"
Ordering ended up working fine, but it wasn’t quite as smooth as I thought it would be. I had to try a couple of times before the checkout went through, which was a little annoying, but I got there in the end.

"The profit numbers didn’t really hold up"
I spent some time looking into photoboothstartup.com, and the profit claims felt a little too good to be true. When I factored in the actual costs, travel, slow weekends, and money for ads, there didn’t seem to be much left over. I also felt kind of dismissed when my concerns didn’t seem to be taken seriously. In the end, it just didn’t feel worth it for me.

"Didn’t really help me get started"
I was hoping this would make things easier in the beginning, but it felt basic and still somehow confusing. I didn’t come away feeling like I had a clear next step, which was frustrating.

"Works okay, but I’d test it first"
I did get the photobooth software up and running eventually, but the setup took more patience than I expected. A few buttons and settings weren’t very obvious, so I found myself clicking around and double-checking things before I felt comfortable using it.
Once it was running, it handled the basic stuff fine, so it’s not bad overall. I just wouldn’t rely on it at the last minute without testing everything first, and I’d definitely feel better if the layout was cleaner and the app had clearer built-in tips.
